Christmas Cheer

It's COLD here!

We went with my family to get a Christmas tree this past weekend. 

It is a long standing tradition - started by my parents when they were first engaged.

This was some of the most snow we had seen in awhile and it was sure COLD!

(If you are not convinced, see the last picture of my brother with frozen eyebrows!)

Needless to say, we left little Eric with Aunt Meg and Cousin Ben warmly at home. :)

We returned home this week from a great road trip to Chicago to see family. 

Eric was a trooper! 

He slept a good part of the time and even took his bottles half cold! 

And now that he has had his first driving lesson, he might be taking over next time!

Another Hike 

We missed hiking this summer, since we were busy adding a baby to our lives. :)

So we've been taking advantage of the beautiful fall weather while we can! 

(although I hear it is supposed to snow soon!!)

First Hike

We went on our first hike this past Saturday...

...with Eric and Grandma! (Bryan's mom) 

It was a gorgeous, fall day in Colorado

Eric just LOVED it! 

He is our little "mountain man" in the making! 

Our little guy is growing fast...

He thinks this is pretty fun - 

but what's more fun is putting those fingers in and out!

Smile Sequence

Eric at 6 weeks old, smiling away! 

To see this at 4AM 

makes me one happy momma! 

Baby Boys

Awhile back you may remember these pictures...

Now the tummies are gone (or almost gone my case!)

and we have sweet baby boys!

Justice at 7 weeks old and Eric at only five days

And here they are again, seven weeks later, 

already telling secrets to each other! 

One Happy Guy

Eric is about six weeks old now and is just beginning to smile

This is the best shot I've gotten so far, 

but it is SO heart-warming! 

Family Fun

We've had alot of family get togethers these past two weeks...

A special visit from my aunt and uncle from El Salvador made for a great party at my parent's house

A lovely summer walk with Bryan's mom and 
family in Loveland

Another special visit from Bryan's dad and twin brother 
from Chicago

And more visits from GREAT grandparents from Castle Pines

Our first bath started out with Eric crying....

Once we got him dried off and in a towel 

he seemed much happier.

hopefully he will grow to like his baths more as time goes on!
